Why real estate
Brett moved to Colorado from Miami in 2019. Before real estate, he spent four years in customer success and sales at a tech company that grew from about 200 people to 2,000. He holds a degree in finance and entrepreneurship.
Customer success was people work, but it was spread across hundreds of accounts. Brett wanted to work with people one on one and see the difference he made. Helping someone through the largest purchase or sale of their life is a big responsibility, and he doesn't take it lightly.
How Brett works
Most of Brett's clients are buying their first home or selling one to buy the next. He also works with investors and with people moving to Colorado from out of state.
The first conversation is a short call, or coffee if you're nearby. Clients reach Brett by call, text, email, or the contact form, and he replies within a few hours on business days.
Brett runs the numbers with every client. For buyers, that's the down payment, the full monthly payment, refinance timing, and what the cash could do somewhere else. Sellers get a list price built from recent sales of similar size and condition, plus an estimate of what they'll net after closing.
Buyers who aren't sure what they want start with exploration days, touring homes in several neighborhoods before narrowing the search. Brett sees each home in person, because listing photos don't show street noise or how the rooms connect. Before anyone signs a contract, he walks them through it.
On listings, he works with a transaction coordinator and a staging team.

Outside of work
On Sundays, Brett has people over for dinner, and it often turns into a game night. He's a foodie and is always trying somewhere new to eat. His favorite coffee shop is Flat Six Coffee, and he gets there by bike. In winter, he's skiing.
